I know I hurt you.
I know you wonder if I ever truly loved you.
I did.
More than I had ever loved anyone in my life.
But after a while,
I got over all the butterflies, the palpitations, the sweaty palms.
I could no longer feel what I used to.
I tried.
But the truth is,
I stopped loving you.
I’m moving on.
Hoping to find someone else to fall in love with.
I wish you good luck.
Saying goodbye is a lot of work.
And I don’t have strength for any emotional confrontations.
So I’d be on my way.
By the time you see this, I’d be long gone.
Don’t wait for me
I’m not coming back.
