I have been feeling burnt out for the past couple of weeks. These have been the most physically, emotionally and mentally exhausting weeks of this entire residency programme for me.

On many days I contemplated resigning, because I felt like:

There has to be an easier way to live than this.

I don’t even know where to begin in terms of giving details.

I’m glad I get to take a break from work. It’s a long 21 days break.

I’d have loved to travel the world and take pictures in this time....but inflation.

It got to my turn to do this ‘adulting’ thing and the cost of living is choking the living. God help us all. :(

So I’m just going to use my leave to reesstttt, laze around, study a bit and do something else with my life other than be a doctor. Phew!

Hopefully the creative juices in me flow out and I’m able to write more.

Thank you so much for taking time to read my writing. It truly means a lot. Please clap up to 50 times, share, comment if you can and also subscribe so you’d get an email everytime a new writing drops.

If you’d like to support me and send a little gift, you can do so here

Thanks and God bless.

xoxo
