It’s Okay To Admit That You’re Not Okay.

You don’t have to pretend.

It’s okay to admit that you’re not okay.

It doesn’t make you weak.

And the truth is, you don’t have to prove to anyone how strong you are.

Be honest with yourself.

Be honest with the people around you.

Be free to be who you really are.

Be free to feel what you really feel.

Sometimes it feels like you’re stuck in a phase that’s full of negative energy.

You feel anxious, angry, sad and maybe even numb.

It’s okay, we all feel like this once in a while.

Some people have it worse than others.

It’s fine if you don’t get over this phase as quickly as others might.

You don’t have to rush to be okay.

You don’t have to pretend to be fine just to make everyone else around you feel comfortable.

The people that love you, should love you enough to stay with you even when you’re going through a difficult phase.

And if they won’t, then it’s okay to let them go.

Be patient with yourself.

Be kind to yourself.

Healing takes time.

You will heal.

It would get better.

But in the mean time.

It’s okay to admit that you’re not okay.

In Honour of Mental Health Day.
