It’s been a minute since I wrote

I’d ask if you missed me. But I’m not even sure how many people noticed that I hadn’t written in a bit.

Anywho..

A lot’s happened.

I’m done with the Children Emergency rotation. yayy.

I’m relieved to be done.

It was very stressful, physically and emotionally.

But I’m glad it’s over.

I did develop some ‘muscle’.

I learnt how to prioritise ill patients, I learnt how to manage a whole lot of illnesses and I also learnt how to fight patients lool.

For the past 3 months, I’ve used a lot of energy and I wish I could take a break.

But that’s not even possible right now.

Sooo. I’m moving forward.

And just like that, I’ve spent 9 months in residency. Woah!

I’m now in the Paediatric Neurology unit.

Yay?

It’s been only a week and I have mixed feelings about it.

I feel like Neurology is for smart kids and I’m far from being a smart kid.

When I try to study, I just feel so lost, so blank lool.

I don’t remember the parts of the brain too, the anatomy or the physiology. So I have to go back to the basics.

Using my brain to read about my brain and how it works is stressing me out.

But I don’t particularly have a choice. I have to figure this out.

May God give me strength.

I’m back to having a regular 8–4 routine, so hopefully, I’m able to plan my time and my life a lot better now.

My routine has been very haphazard for months and i’ve lost the habits I spent months trying to build.

It’s going to take a lot to start building these habits again, but God will help me.

Hopefully i’d also be writing more now. I have a lot of unfinished writings in my drafts. Same way I have a lot of unedited pictures and also a lot of edited pictures that I haven’t posted. *tears*

Thank you so much for taking time to read my writing. It truly means a lot. Please clap up to 50 times, share, comment if you can and also subscribe so you’d get an email everytime a new writing drops.

If you’d like to support me and send a little gift, you can do so here

Thanks and God bless.

xoxo
